We made a trial set so that even those who are new to clay can familiarize themselves with it. There are 3 options, in dropdown menu such as a trial set, with bath salts and a gift set for after chemo. See the explanation regarding a gift set after chemo in additional info section further down.

How you use them is totally up to you, but here is some recommended methods.

(Recommendation No. 1)

1, First, take out a teaspoon of clay that you like, and add half the amount of water to make a paste to start with. You will notice that different clays require different amounts of water. The process is also a very interesting experience to know Clay's personality. Please adjust the amount of water accordingly.

2, Think about which hand to apply it on your right hand or your left hand. Apply it to the centre of your palm. Close your eyes and enjoy the feel of the clay on your palm.

3, As a general rule, do not leave clay paste until it is completely dry. When part of the clay is dry, remove it with a spatula, discard in the general waste bin, and wash your hands.

It's very refreshing even though it's just applied to a small part of your body.

Now, which palm did you apply the clay on, right hand or left hand? Roughly speaking, people who applied it on their right hand wanted the energy of clay because they lacked energy, and people who applied it on their left hand wanted the detox effect of clay because they wanted to release the accumulated things.

How do you find it? it's interesting, isn’t it!

(Recommendation No. 2)

You can choose clay according to the phase of the moon and enjoy the clay bath with bath salt. A set including bath salts is available from option. The energy of each phase of the moon and the energy of clay are associated to create good vibrations. Please see the link.

(Recommendation No. 3)

Try using it according to the characteristics of the clay. Since the amount is small, the usage is limited, but for example,

  • Make a paste of Green Illite, which has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, and apply it to the area where you feel pain. Also great for minor burns, cuts and scrapes.
  • Place half a teaspoon of White Kaolinite, which has a gentle action, on your palm and drip some water to make a thin paste, then wash your face with it.
  • Take a footbath in Red Illite, which has a warming property.
  • Apply paste of Pink Clay at the back of your neck which has  warming and detoxifying effects.
  • Enjoy jade-coloured hot bath with strong healing energy of Zeolite where you feel almost as if you are in hot spring in Japan.
  • Try brushing your teeth with mineral-rich Yellow Illite.
  • Apply White Montmorillonite, which has a strong detoxifying effect, to the back of the knee where the lymph glands are concentrated. Especially recommended for menopausal women.
  • Expecting a lift up effect, use brown clay to pack nasolabial folds.

In any case, clay does not moisturize, so please apply oil or moisturizing cream after using clay.

Please feel free to enjoy and try it!

The Fabulous Clay Trial Set

£18.00Price
  • As one of the trial set options, I created a gift set to support those undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

My sister in Japan, who was two years older than me, had cancer and I watched closely during her five-year battle with the disease. Chemotherapy, radiotherapy and radiofrequency ablation, you name it. There was nothing I could do for my sister at the time but encourage her. My sister passed away during the second lockdown in the UK when all the flight including to Japan were suspended, so I couldn't even attend her funeral, which was very hard for me because I never imagined that would happen and I was at a loss.

I couldn’t stop thinking I could have used clay to improve her quality of life. If I had learnt clay therapy long ago, I would have…... I created this set with that in mind.

The first thing that patients hope for in chemotherapy is that the drugs work well on the target cancer cells and eliminate them.

The second most important thing is that they should leave the body as soon as possible after reaching the target and fulfilling their role. The body protects its vital organs, most notably the heart and brain. So the drugs are taken outwards and outwards, at the expense of the skin, hair, fingertips and other parts of the body that are further away from the centre, where there is less risk to life. Side effects can make your hair fall out, your nails turn black, your fingertips ache and you become hypersensitive. You may have severe diarrhoea, whether it's to get the drugs out of your body faster, and there are also effects on your kidneys.

Clay helps the body to work after chemotherapy treatment. It actively absorbs waste and toxic substances from the body and keeps them in its layered form. Detoxification is a speciality of clay.

Furthermore, cancer patients are often exposed to radiation during tests and treatment. Certain clays are also used to decontaminate radioactive soil in Japan. Because this is a gift for someone who is fighting against the disease, the same type of clay used for radioactive decontamination is added to the regular eight-clay trial set. This is a free gift from us. Because this clay cannot be used on its own, so we mixed it with the bath salts. The bath salts also come in separate bags in the bath salt set so that the two types can be enjoyed separately, but in this gift set we have mixed them together to make it as hassle-free as possible.

    We hope this helps.

    How to use ?

-Pick up a bag of clay your like.

-Sprinkle a bag of clay and two table spoonful of bath salts mix into a bath tab.

-Soak yourself from head to toes! And relax!
