Lourdes, where holy water is poring out

Do you know the holy spring in France, Lourdes near the Pyrenees, on the border with Spain? It all started when Virgin Mary appeared as a vision 18 times and told Bernadette, a local girl that the water under ground of this grotto had the power of healing.

As a provider of healing through clay and as a spiritual healer, I have always wanted to visit there. This half-term my dream came true, and I went there with my family.

When I first visited Sanctuary, there was a woman greedily seeking healing powers. I felt a faint disgust for such a person.

But as I went to the sanctuary every day, fetched holy water for my daily drinking and cooking, attended Mass, and participated in the nightly torchlight procession, I understood. They are not greedy, they are enthusiastic.

Evening torchlight processions are held every night regardless of the weather, rain or shine. At the beginning, I was there just an observer, however gradually I was singing hymns and calling out the name of the Virgin Mary with others. I was moved by the purity of the people's faith in the Virgin Mary. And the Virgin Mary of Lourdes received and welcomed us with a very open heart. I learned that it is the mindset that healers should have.

By the way, I'm not Catholic, my family in Japan is Buddhist, so I'm more familiar with that, but I think they're both the same spiritually.
